I think everyone encounters unreasonable customers who complain while we’re at work.
In situations like that, if it were in Japanese, I could handle it well (with a bit of sarcasm, haha), but in English, I always end up being left speechless, and it’s frustrating.
Even if I want to say something back, the words just don’t come to me right away.
When I first started working as a barista, my English skills were even worse than they are now, and I remember being told things like, “Why is someone who can’t speak English working here?”
It really hurt at that time.
Anyway, I’ll keep studying hard and continue to do my best.
I am amazing for persevering!

仕事をしていると理不尽な客から文句を言われることが誰にでもあると思う。そんなとき、日本語だったらうまく対応できる（ちょっと嫌味まじりに笑）のに、英語だとどうしても言われっぱなしで終わってしまうのが悔しい。何か言い返したくても、すぐパッと言葉が出てこないんだよなあ。バリスタとして働き始めたばかりの頃は、英語も今よりままならなくて、「英語できないやつが働くんじゃねえ！」みたいに言われたことがあって、あの時はすごく傷ついたなあ。とにかく、頑張って勉強して、慣れない土地で慣れない言語を話して頑張っている自分たちすごい！偉い！気を落とさず、前向きにこれからも頑張ろう。
