I had a phone call with my best friend from middle school, whom I hadn’t talked to in a while.
She’s always been a hard worker and seems to have a lot on her plate, but I felt relieved to hear that she now has kind and supportive seniors and bosses, and she’s doing well.
Talking to each other, I realized how both of us have grown a little more mature over time.
It’s important to have conversations like this regularly.
